Financial transactions are highly important in our daily life, and are developing very fast.

New forms and new ways are emerging every now and then.

“Sukuk of Investment” is the latest and most important form developed and used by financial institutions.

It is considered as the best way to finance bigger projects that are not affordable for a single entity.

It opens a better channel for investors who want to invest their money with a provision to withdraw whenever they need cash flow.

It also provides liquidity/cash flow to individuals, companies and governments.

This paper shortly describes the concept, origin and related risks of Sukuk.

Sukuk and investment are defined carefully as the reader could understand the differences between bonds, and shares.

It also explains the stages of its development, types with reference to the contracts for transacting, and the relationship between the issuer and holder of Sukuk and the way it is ended.

I have explained the concept of risks in relation to investment as well as the risks involved in dealing with Sukuk of investment.

This is added to drawing on the regulations of Sharia which organize its issuing, handling and amortizing.
