Abstract EN

The teacher’s job is one of the greatest and noblest jobs in the history of humanity throughout the ages.

But the situation has changed today, and it has become a difficult and tiring career in Algeria, if not impossible at all, because of the big amount of problems that are surrounding the teacher in all sides and hindering the performance of his job.

So this study has come as an attempt to detect the most important problems that the teachers of primary schools face in Laghouat, in their point of view of course, and show the differences between these problems according to the differences of the study variables(sex, teaching item, years of experience).

The researchers used the descriptive and analytical approach, and the study population included all teachers (male, female), then a sample of 93 (male, female) has been selected randomly.

And to collect data, the researchers prepared a questionnaire containing 50 items divided into five areas: (problems related to teachers, problems related to learners, problems related to the approach, problems related to school management, problems related to parents).

The study results have showed that the problems related to parents came first, followed by problems related to the approach, and in third place the problems related to pupils, then problems related to school management, and finally the problems related to the teacher, of course according to Likertscale.

The study has also showed that there are statistical significant differences in the degree of respondents appreciation to the problems related to (sex variable, teaching item variable).

The study has also detected that there are no statistical significant differences between the sample members in the problems related to (years of experience variable).

The study was concluded with a number of proposals that we believe that may help this group improve the performance of their important and serious job in the society in a best way.
