Abstract EN

The study aimed to propose a strategy for the development of democratic culture among the members of the Students' Union in the Jordanian public universities, and to achieve the objectives of the study were used descriptive method survey, and the study population consisted of all the Students' Union at the University of Jordan, Yarmouk University, and the University of Mutah during the academic year 2015/2016 and the number (242) students, The study found that the reality of the democratic culture among the members of the Students 'Union in the Jordanian public universities h"om the perspective of the students came to a fair degree, and through theoretical literature and answer respondents were propose a strategy for the development of democratic culture among the members of the Students' Union in the Jordanian public universities.

The study recommended the adoption of the strategy and training on the practice of democracy, through the establishment of a club of student debates.
