Abstract EN

This research aims to clarify the role of business incubators in the strengthening and development of scientific research in the Arab world.

On the one hand, they embrace research projects in their infancy and take them into charge until they grow and become autonomous industrial or service projects that serve the community.

On the other hand, business incubators constitute a favorable space for creative researchers.

The main results reached were the following: 1-Business incubators are a mechanism to support and develop scientific research, 2- they direct university graduates towards the establishment of special projects and create job opportunities for them, 3- they provide ways to transfer research from laboratories to productive reality, 4- they are mechanisms to mitigate brain drain, 5- they are mechanisms to increase the contribution of the university in the business sector through their use to absorb the outcomes of students, researchers, and scientific research and they are mechanisms for the development of Arab-Arab cooperation and integration, between countries with financial surpluses and others with competencies
