Abstract EN

This study discussed the ability of Jordanian legislation to combat forced labor in three chapters.

The first chapter explained Jordan's commitment to combat forced labor in accordance to the constitution and international treaties.

The second chapter focused on the role of labor legislations in this regard, as for the third chapter it explained the impact of other laws in combating forced labour.

The study reached several conclusions.

Most notably, Jordan has to penalize forced labour labor as a crime against persons in the penal code.

several regulations need to be issued in accordance to the labor Law to eliminate the possibilities of forced labor and prevention of Crimes law should not be applied against migrant workers.
