The study addresses Bakr benHammad’s poem which eulegizes Imam Ali Ben Abi Tateb, adopting text level stylistic approach.

This approach begins with phonetic level and internal and external rhythm, then lexical and syntactic level and finally ends with semantic level.

The approach was adopted because the poet has utilized language as a set of convergent systems in which phonetic, syntactic and semantic levels are conjoined in an artistic and integrated texture leading to its potential creativity arise.

This texture has also led to the release of the potential creativity both in intonation and literary representation.

Actually, the text contents are linguistic data which have revealed its cognitive load, highlighted its aesthetic values and expressed the poet’s artistic experience together with his own point of view
