Abstract EN

The research paper titled "The Scope of Compatibility According to Terminology and Rules of Obligation in the Jordanian Civil Cod" discusses and covers two main topics; the first is testing the philosophy that built the Civil Jordanian Law which was issued in 1976.

The testing of that philosophy should takes in consideration both the vertical and horizontal way.

The second main topic should offer enough understanding of the importante rules in the Civil Jordanian Code in deep analysis in order for suggestions to modify the law so it becomes more compatible with the demands of the Jordanian society.

The author through the research paper suggests that the Jordanian legislator should enact the rules without differences between the meanings in the same rule, which should assist the progress in both the legal and the judicial field.

The research paper also examined a few rules that are vague in certain way and suggested modifications to such rules.
