The very short story appeared in the literary and cultural Arab scene as a distinct literary genre despite the fact that it is so young in its form It was able to co exit with other literary genres and to attract a large number of writers and creators in which they found a form to express their ideas and present their creativity This was all through a concise and compressed form ,reading reality artistically ,and depicting society with its contradictions and negative aspect with sense of irony ,paradox ,and wonder One of those writers is Mohamed Al Azab in his collection entitled SOLO which is distinguished with variation in subject matters and precise investment of techniques in their different forms.
