Psychological stress The current research aims to investigate the stress experienced by a number of mothers of children with autism.

In addition to the variation in its degrees, mainly depending on the different variables of this study (mother’s age, mother’s educational level as well as mother’s job).The sample of study was thirty three women (33) from Batna City .In her inquiry, the researcher used the descriptive method as to its relevance to the nature of the investigation.In order to achieve satisfactory results, the researcher has designed a questionnaire about mothers suffering from stress.

The Validity psychometric properties of the tool were carefully calculated for: internal consistency, the correlation ranged between (0.84) and (0.93) while reliability was measured in two ways: Splithalf (0.87), Cronbach's alpha (0.91) which are high transactions The researcher has used percentages in determining the properties of the sample, averages and standard deviations to know the degree of psychological stress, besides using( the t-test) to determine the differences between the mothers in terms of the variables of the study.

The study results were as follows : - Mothers of children with autism suffer from a medium degree of psychological stress.

(Average = 3.28) -No statistically significant differences in the degree of stress among mothers of children with autism depending the age, the level of educational and the work.
