Abstract EN

The current study aimed to explore the effect of role crisis on marital adjustment, job satisfaction and stress for wives nurses.

The data was collected by distributing four scales assess profession role conflict, marital adjustment, job satisfaction and stress.

we have also used ANOVA to determine the differences in role conflict levels according to marriage duration, educational level and source of child care, in addition to the use of Chafe test that explores which educational level is mainly effected by role conflict.

The result shows that the role crisis has an inverse correlation effect on marital adjustment and job satisfaction.

The study recommend conducting studies to examine the ability of counseling programs on reduce the level of psychological stress that related with role crisis for wives nurses.
