Abstract EN
The study aimed to find out the competitive advantage in the University of Jordan as seen by graduate students.
The study population consisted of graduate students at the University of Jordan for the academic year (2015/2016).
It was chosen as a random sample representative of the population size (115 students).
To analyze the data of the study, the averages, standard deviations, analysis of variance, t-test, and Pearson coefficient were employed.
The study results showed that the degree of realization of graduate students at the University of Jordan to the concept of competitive advantage came highly.
The results also showed that the importance of the requirements of building a competitive advantage from the viewpoint of graduate students at the University of Jordan in the first, second fourth average, and the third areas is high.
It is indicated that there is no statistically significant differences at the level (α≤0.05) for the degree of importance of competitive advantage in the University of Jordan requirements as seen by graduate students depending on the variable of academic specialization.
Moreover, there are no statistically significant differences in other areas, with the exception of the human resources and technology and information systems.
Statistically significant differences at the level (α≤0.05) is found regarding the degree of importance of the competitive advantage requirements of the University of Jordan as seen by graduate students in variable depending on the level of education.
In addition, a statistically significant differences are observed in other areas, with the exception of the field of scientific research and the production of knowledge.
In the light of these findings.
the study recommends follow-up to what is new in the field of scientific research and the production of knowledge and to provide teachers qualified in science and knowledge and information technology in order to increase competitiveness in the era of globalization and open markets.
It also recommends to strive for providing a competitive advantage as requirements of the basic pillars of the feature in the universities.
