Abstract EN

The study aimed to identify the stability degree of head coaches of professional clubs, and to identify the relationship between head coaches stability and the ranking on the ladder league of soccer professional clubs in Jordan.

The researchers used the descriptive survey approach and chose intentionally a sample of 24 head coaches, representing all professional clubs in Jordan for the sports season (2012-2013).

For the purpose of the study, the researchers used a form of certain names of head coaches and a form of the ordering table of professional clubs in that season.

The data were analyzed by using frequencies and percentages of the times number of switching coaches with the use of Pearson correlation coefficient (Pearson Correlation) for the extraction of the relationship between head coaches stability and ranking on the ladder of the league, The results showed that there is a degree of stability generally acceptable for head coaches with professional clubs in Jordan.

They also showed a statistically significant correlation at the level of (α≤0.05) between head coachs stability and ranking on the ladder league with soccer professional clubs in Jordan for the sports season (2012-2013).
