Abstract EN

The study aimed at recognizing the level of the spiritual intelligence among the students of the Faculty of Educational Sciences and Arts/ UNRWA in terms of the variables of gender, GPA, and social status.

The sample consisted of 199 male and female students, and it was conducted during the summer course 2014 / 2015.

Those students were selected on the basis of random cluster.

To achieve the goals of the study, the researcher used King's (2008) scale of spiritual intelligence.

The results demonstrated that the spiritual intelligence among the students of the faculty of educational sciences and arts/ UNRWA was high as a whole and in all its aspects.

The results also demonstrated no statistical differences of the spiritual intelligence attributed to the variables of gender, GPA, and social status except some differences in the transcendental awareness attributed to the variable of gender in favor of females.

The results also demonstrated some differences in the personal meaning production attributed to the variable of GPA in favor of the (very good) evaluation as opposite to the excellent and good evaluations.

The results also showed some differences in the critical existential thinking attributed to the variable of social status in favor of the married students.
