The aim of the research is to identify the lack of mental disability among primary school pupils from the point of view of their teachers and the lack of mental disability among primary school students according to the gender variable.
The current research was limited to a sample of primary and primary school students in Baghdad and affiliated to the third Directorate of Education of Rusafa of both sexes for the academic year 2016 2017.
The sample of the current research was 300 students, In order to achieve the objectives of the current research, the researchers prepared a measure of deficiencies in mental functions and after it was presented to a group of experts in education and psychology and subject its paragraphs to statistical analysis where the final version consisted of (26) paragraph and after the application of the measure on the research sample and data analysis, (127) students and students suffer from mental disability, so there are significant differences in the mental functions in favor of the average sample, The results showed statistically significant differences in the extent of mental disability in the field of attention deficit, inadequate comprehension, lack of memory ability, inadequate information processing, and male interest.
There were also no statistically significant differences The field of language deficiencies between males and females.
