Cultural intelligence is a social activity and a major part of an individual's life.
He who has the skills of cultural intelligence opens up many fields of knowledge and gains many social relations.
How many rights have been wasted, how many rulings have been issued in the wrong way and how many learning opportunities have been lost due to lack of intelligence Cultural diversity, and the determinants affecting this ability: compatibility with different cultures, differences in cultures, values, customs, traditions, etc.Cultural intelligence is the ability of the individual to make himself understood "in front of others by finding fruitful treatment in situations characterized by cultural difference, that is, includes the ability to behave appropriately in the case of different cultures with the ability to have an open mind that accommodates new information And alien to those cultures.
Hence the role of the university in the various stages that the society created in order to achieve its objectives.
There are cognitive traits that must be enjoyed by the students and help them to succeed in solving their problems.
There are characteristics and qualities of knowledge possessed by university students such as flexibility in thinking and openness to the experiences of others and what the student is keen to teach in The university must adapt itself to others and harmony with them and when this happens between the students becomes an appropriate environment for education, thinking and innovation.
Those who enjoy open mind move away from one direction and one thought to reach points of agreement with others.
This is confirmed by cultural intelligence, so that it avoids intolerance and intellectual stagnation.
Therefore, students' open mind" requires an environment of freedom and acceptance of others.
Therefore, the current research is based on the relationship between cultural intelligence and intellectual openness among the students of the University of Babel.
Therefore, the researcher adopted the Eidi scale, 2010 for the intellectual intelligence and the measurement of Asli, 2013 for open mind.
Thus, the researcher verified the validity of the two measures and their analysis statistically on a sample of 310 students And a student from the University of Babel students were chosen in random way with appropriate distribution.
After completing the number of research tools, the researcher applied them to a sample of 411 students who were also randomly selected.
In order to analyze the results of the research, the researcher used a number of statistical methods to achieve the objectives of the research are the onesample and two-independent tertiary test, Pearson correlation coefficient, alpha-Cronbach coefficient, binary contrast analysis, Seberman Brown equation and standard error equation.
The researcher reached the following results : 1-The students of the University of Babylon have a good degree in the level of cultural intelligence.
2-students of the University of Babylon at a high level of open mind.
3-the existence of correlation relationship average statistical function between the cultural intelligence and open mind among students of the University of Babylon.
Based on the results of the research, the researcher developed a set of recommendations and proposals that will complete the current research.
