The researcher aims at using this theory in the Quranic abnormal readings by applying it on the undominated structures of the grammatical rule as a result of its violation for one or more of the rules conditions.

The linguistic performance that does not follow the language rules were varied.

It was named as the remanence as opposite to optimality theory.

The remainance is a temporary deviation that could be explained by rules that stem from the original rules.

The researcher found that linguists were aware of the optimality theory when they balanced between the linguist’s performances but they preferred a practical application.
