Abstract EN

The purpose of this study is to identify the features of Arabs and Muslim image in the Israeli preparatory stage history textbooks and the improvement suggestion.

To achieve the aims of this study, the researcher developed an analysis list and checked its validity and reliability in addition to conducting interviews with (20) individuals of scholars and scientists as the sample consisted of history textbooks of the seventh, eighth and tenth grades in Israeli public schools of the ministry of education in the schooling year 3013/3014.

The findings of the study showed that there is a clear and intended distortion of Arabs and Muslims image in the Israeli preparatory stage history textbooks, those books focused on the negative domains of the Arab-Islamic personality neglecting all the positive domains purposefully.
