Abstract EN

This study provides a political analysis of the relationship between the people and the ruling power in Islamic political thought.

It examines the political side of the concept of "ta'at waley alaamer", which means "compliance with the ruling power", as it was thought of by Sheikh Mohammad ibn Abdulwahhab.

This study also seeks to explore the impact of the environmental and societal situation, that accompanied the emergence of ibn Abdulwahhab' thought, on the concept of "ta'at waley alaamer".Moreover, this study aims to analyze the relationship between the concept of "ta'at waley alaamer", and the nature of the political system in the state as well as the political rights and freedom.

Lastly, this study aims to evaluate the concept of "ta'at waley alaamer", as it was thought of by Ibn Abdulwahhab, in light of the current period of time and its political situation.
