Abstract EN

The purpose of this study was to identify the administrative competencies of the education directorates directors in Irbid from the point view of their assistants and the heads of administrative departments, and to know whether there were statistically significant differences due to the variables (sex, qualification, and years of experience, and Job Named).

The sample of the study consisted of (108) individuals.

The instrument of this study included (77) questionnaires distributed in (8) domains.

Results of the study indicated that education directorates directors in irbid practice administrative competencies in different degrees.

The degree was high for: planning competencies, resource management competencies, leadership competencies, assessment competencies, humanity competencies, administrative and technical competencies, medium for Technology competencies and conceptual competencies, moreover, the results showed no statistically differences due to the variables of sex, educational qualification, job named, whereas there was statistically differences due to the the years of experience for the benefit of (11 years and over).

According to the results asset of recommendations and proposals were made.
