Abstract EN

According to study findings, impediments to electronic education in KSA prisons saw higher levels in all domains.

Statistically significant differences based on gender variable were found within management and staff – related impediments.

No statistically significant differences based on gender were found in the two domains of supplies and prisoners - related impediments.

Similarly no differences based on qualifications variable were found within supplies- related; staff - related and prisoners – related impediments domains.

However differences were found within management – related impediments domain.

Statistically significant differences based on experience variable were found within management - related impediments domain, particularly in the experience ranging from 5 to more than 10 years.

Differences as well were found within staff – related impediments domain in experience between 5 to more than 10 years with an arithmetic mean of 4.10.

Differences were also found in experience less than 5 years and more than 10 years with an arithmetic mean of 3.91.

Based on experience variable, differences were found within prisoners- related impediments: differences were found in experience ranging from 5 to more than 10 years with an arithmetic mean of 3.96.

Statistically significant differences were also witnessed in experience less than 5 years – more than 10 years with an arithmetic mean of 3.77.
