The current research aims to recognizing the level and significance differences in Irrational Thoughts among the students of the University of Sallahaddin - Erbil University students by variable sex (male, female) specialization variable (scientific and humanitarian).

were selected (608) students as a sample search of the third stage in Salahaddin University religion of the male and female of the human and scientific departments in morning colleges for the academic year (2013-2014).

Relied on the search on a scale (Mulla Tahir, 1995) of Irrational Thoughts , were verified face validity and validity of translation of this scale, was the Reliability of scale was measured by retest way and Alfa Cronbach way, after the application has been the use of statistical bag for Social Sciences (SPSS) to Processing the research data, the results showed high Irrational Thoughts level of Salahaddin University students, and students of the University of females and humanitarian disciplines have bigger Irrational Thoughts level compared to males and scientific disciplines.
