Abstract EN

The aim of this study was to determine the level of functionality of physical education teachers in the province, and has sought to reveal the impact of gender and experience training on job performance of physical education teachers in Karak governorate.

The researcher developed a scale to determine the level of job performance of teachers of Physical Education in the Karak governorate.

The study population of all teachers of physical education in public schools in the school districts of Karak governorate for the academic year 2011/2012 and numbered (232) teachers who are officially designated in the Ministry of Education, the study sample was selected randomly and the number of its members (100 teachers).

The researchers recommended to introducing the concepts of community work and to highlight the social responsibility and its importance during the preparation courses of physical education teachers and by holding in-service training courses give physical education teacher full knowledge about how to do effective social roles.
