Abstract EN

This historical study tackling agriculture in the district of Tripoli and Latakia, which were a part of Beirut state in the Ottoman era, through the "Tamimi trip to Beirut state", aims to highlight the importance of land, population and agriculture development in that region.

Moreover, the study tries to highlight the "Tamimi trip to Beirut state " as one of the most important historical, geographical and statistical sources.

This trip explored the area in details as the area in question occupies the coastal and mountainous areas along the Mediterranean Sea from the borders of Beirut to the borders of the banner of Iskenderun.

This area plays an important economic role during the Ottoman era.

It is our hope that this study is to address the following questions and hypotheses: 1- What is the reality of population and its distribution in the two districts? 2- Agricultural area administrative divisions of the area 3- What industries have been associated with agriculture? 4- Incomes of the two states of agriculture through the volume of production and exports abroad
