Abstract EN

Since « Al waqf» (The endowment) plays an important role in studying the various historical, sociological, political , religious, and cultural aspects in a given society, the following study approaches and analyses all the bibliographical references and resources that are related to « Al waqf « in Algeria in the Ottoman period (1518_ 1830) Besides, the investigation will indude a methodological analysis of the primary sources that deal with legal and monitory registres, French archives, the academic productions as theses, articales, meetings and conferences, and the original manuscripts that have not been printed not published and that tackel prinarily Al waqf.
