Abstract EN

This study aimed to know the impact of competitive priorities on Organizational Performance testing the mediating role of the of ERP systems usage and e-business technology adoption at Arab Bank's branches in Amman City.

A questionnaire was designed based on the relevant studies to collect data from the study sample.

The study population consists of all Arab Bank branches managers and heads of departments working in Amman City.

Because the small size of the study population, therefore, decision was taken to survey all the research population.

The study sample represented by (126) questionnaires out of (128) were distributed.

The study arrived to a set of results, the most important amongst them are: There is significant statistical impact for cost priority, quality and flexibility on ERP systems usage but not the speed delivery.

There is significant statistical impact for quality and speed delivery priorities on the adoption of e-business technology but not the flexibility and cost priorities.

There is significant statistical impact for ERP system usage and e-business technology adoption on organizational performance.

There is no mediating role for ERP systems usage in the impact of competitive priorities on organizational performance.

There is a partial mediating role for e-business technology adoption and integration between ERP and e-business technology adoption in the impact of competitive priorities on organizational performance.

Based on the research results, a set of recommendations were provided among them the necessity for Arab bank to activate ERP system usage to enhance the impact of competitive priorities on organizational performance.

Arab bank also must ensure the integration between ERP system and e-business technology to achieve superior business performance.
