Abstract EN

This study aimed at identifying the impact of the factors surrounding the appraisal in enhancing organizational values exploratory study on the water sector in Jordan.

To achieve this objective, a questionnaire was developed and distributed to a sample consisted of (311) respondents.

The retrieved and reliable questionnaires for analysis were (271).

The Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) was used to analyze the collected data.

The most important results were as follows: The perceptions of workers in the water sector in Jordan to assess the factors surrounding the performance, and organizational values, were high.

There is an impact of the factors surrounding the process of assessing evaluation dimensions in organizational values, and that the factors surrounding the performance evaluation alone explain (58.1%) of the variation in the level of organizational values.

The study recommends necessity of the work on the effectiveness of building a system which evaluates good performance for employees and make training courses to the carers on the system of performance evaluation.
