Researchers’ efforts usually focus on studying the role of scholars of hadith in serving prophetic hadith and its various disciplines; pinpointing their methods while compiling, sorting, publishing and criticizing its methods and narrations; in addition to highlighting their efforts in documenting its history, biographies and other field.

However, it’s not common to find intensive studies underpinning their role in preaching, politics, jihadand reformation at that time so that preachers and muslims in general can benefit from such contributions in our modern time.

Therefore, this paper highlights their cultural role in Andalusia.

It also presents the fact that they served Islam not only intellectually by pens but also physically by swords, , thus combining both benefetial knowledge and good deeds
