Abstract EN

This study aims to tackle the different aspects related to the hidden curriculum in E-learning and compare it with the hidden curriculum of traditional education.

It also focuses on the criticisms against the hidden curriculum in E-learning which based on the hidden curriculum, and it tackles the positive and negative aspects of the hidden curriculum in E-learning and its elements.

The researchers used the descriptive analytical method by extrapolating the educational literature that dealt with the hidden curriculum in E-learning.

The results of the study revealed the existence of real differences between the hidden curriculum in E-learning and traditional education, and the negative psychological effects, as well as the definition of the positive and negative aspects of the hidden curriculum.

In the light of the presented findings, the study provided a set of recommendations most notably, promoting the positive aspects of the hidden curriculum in E-learning by providing educational implications that support directly and indirectly in the official electronic curriculum.

It also recommended conducting dialogues and studies about the hidden curriculum in E-learning and its current and future effects on the individual and society within the information and communication revolution.
