Abstract EN

The study aimed to evaluate the professional development programmes for teachers of s learning disabilities students during service in the public and private schools from their point of view.

The study sample consisted of 40 male and female teachers, and a tool have been built to achieve the objectives of the study, a tool consisted of (74) indicator divided into four main dimensions.

The results showed that there is only one dimension of a degree of applicability is high: "the goals of the professional development program" dimension with a total mean (2.53), while there are three main dimensions applied moderately respectively: "the attributes and characteristics of the trainers" with a mean of (2.24 ), "the content and implications of the programs" with a mean (2.11), and at the last rank "administrative and organizational side " dimension with a mean (2.00), and average of the total score for the dimensions of the tool, (2.25).

The results also showed a low of statistically significant differences (α = 0.05) due to the effect of experience in all dimensions and in the total score.

While study results indicated to the presence of statistically significant differences at (α = 0.05) due to the impact ofthe type of school.
