Abstract EN

The Maghreb countries (Tunisia, Lybia, Morocco) worked hard to bring importance and interest to the Algerian cause mainly after 1958.

Their diplomatic support was clear for the Arab countries thanks to the bilateral meetings and congresses and the different interventions in the African countries bilateral meetings with Mali, Senegal and Nigeria.

Besides, they did their best to make the Algerian cause international during the different congresses: The 1ST and 2nd ACCRA Congress (April and December 1958), Independent Countries Congress in Addis Abbaba 1960, Casablanca Seminar of 1961 and the African Population Seminar of 1961.Thus, one may say that the Maghreb countries played an imported role to support the Algerian cause at the international level.
