Abstract EN

The contemporary literature has showed a growing concerns about the governance of commercial insurance companies in general and cooperative insurance companies in special, which are linked with its strategic performance improvement and the market value of these companies.

Where as this research analysis the requirements to establish and promote the principles and standards of governance in cooperative insurance companies issued by international organizations which is confirmed by each of the Services Board Islamic Finance and Accounting and Auditing Organization for Islamic Financial Institutions, and the what extent they have commitment to apply it in order to guarantee a balanced protection to the related parties in one hand and improve the insurance activity of those companies in the other hand.
