Abstract EN

This study aimed at identifying the level of self-censorship among Yarmouk University students during using social networks from their perspective in the religious, social and educational fields; where the descriptive analytic approach was used.

The study sample consisted of (712) bachelor students from Yarmouk University’s human and scientific collages.

The result showed a high level of self-censorship when using social networks by Yarmouk University students.

Also, the result showed that there are no differences with statistical indication at the indication level (α≤0.05) in the religious and social fields attributed to the total variable, and there are differences with statistical indication in the social field attributed to the total variable in favor of scientific collages, while the results showed that there are differences in the social and educational fields depending on the variable of average daily usage in favor of less than two hours a day, while the result showed that there are no differences in the religious field of study attributed to the variable of average of usage
