مشكلة السيولة في البنوك الإسلامية و أثرها على ربحيتها : دراسة تطبيقية على بنك البركة الجزائري خلال الفترة (2005-2014)‎

Abstract EN

This study aimed to shed light on the problem of liquidity in Islamic banks and determine the impact on their profitability.

To achieve this goal we have been compiling data on Baraka Bank during the period 2002-2014, and we have been studying and analyzing liquidity in the bank on the bases of the latter’s most important indicators compared to a traditional bank which was the Algeria People Funding Bank, Credit population of Algeria (C.P.A.) Besides, the Baraka Bank profit was evaluated by using the return rate on equity and on assets.

It was noticed that there was a statistical relationship between Baraka Bank profitability, that is expressed in return rate index on equity as a key indicator of profitability analysis and the ratio of liquid assets to total assets.

The latter is the most important ratio expressing the bank liquidity.

The study concluded that there was high liquidity in Baraka Bank compared to Algeria’s People Funding Bank, C.P.A.

It also has been found out that there exists an inverse relationship of a statistically moral indication between the revenue of the ownership right as a dependent variable that represents profitability and the ratio of liquid assets to the total assets, which corresponds to liquidity
