Abstract EN

The study aimed at identifying the status of the professional development of the administrative staff at Mutah University from their perspectives and determining their training needs.

The sample of the study comprised (280) male and female administrative staff.

To achieve the purposes of the study, the researchers developed a questionnaire for devel professional development and identifying the training needs for the administrative.

The study revealed that; the domains the level of administrative and technical were moderate, also, it revealed that there were no statistical significant differences due to gender, whereas the results of the study revealed that there were statistical differences due to experience and qualification.

The study also revealed that the administrative staff at Mutah University needs training programs.

In light of the results of the study, the researcher recommended conducting training programs for training the administrative staff and developing their job level based on the vocational development.
