This study aimed at determining the contribution of foreign direct investment in economic development through analyzing its contributions to Algeria, as well as its contributions to several economic variables including gross fixed capital formation, domestic investment, employment, and foreign trade.
The study main findings indicated that inward foreign direct investment to Algeria has a positive contribution to economic development, whereas these contributions on the study assigned economic variables vary from one activity to another, and from one period to another.
