Abstract EN

The nostalgia is one of the most important field of psychology, that has a strong relationship with individual and collective memory.

Sweet regret of “past” and its, oppositeness with “present” called Nostalgia.

The concept of nostalgia dating back to the" Fall of Adam(Man)”, and has long been devoted to the theme of many literary works.

Ahmed Abdel Muti Hijazi and Manouchehr Atashi are two famous contemporary poets who the nostalgic sweet past is outstanding in their works.By considering their own experiences, they combined nostalgia and regretful sadness in the great part of their poetry.

This research is a descriptive – analytical study, which is based on the theories of comparative American school to compare the nostalgia concept in these two poems work.

The findings of this article show that both poets have the different manifestations of nostalgia by the homesickness, memories of childhood, loss of values and imagine of a utopia.
