We dealt with the meaning of the aura linguistically and terminologically.

The aura was mentioned in the Christian, Buddhist, Greek and then Islam.

The ideas behind painting aura were highlighting and recognizing holiness and/or importance of a person.

However, in some cases, the aura was used for ornamentation purposes only.

There are several shapes of painting the aura including oval, rounded, flame and double ring circle.
