Abstract EN

This study aims at identifying the level of activities management effectiveness offered by Islamic Relief worldwide- Gaza office through examining the study variables which are (The effectiveness of designed programs and activities، target group، expertise in implementing activities، and benefit obtained from orphan sponsorship).

The researcher used the Descriptive Analytical Method which depends on collecting data about the study problem and interprets it.

Besides، a questionnaire has been designed to be used to explore study population which includes all orphans sponsored by Islamic Relief- Gaza office، whereas، the number of population reached 6200 orphans (up to the time of questionnaire design).

400 questionnaires were distributed to study sample، where 372 questionnaires were returned، with a percentage of 92.3%.

Findings: There is a statistical relationship between (Activities and programs design، target group، expertise in implementing activities، and benefit obtained from sponsorship) and the effectiveness of activities management offered by Islamic Relief- Gaza office.

Recommendations: The study concluded with some recommendations by which the management of orphans’ activities can be improved; they are 1- Put indexes for activities performance according to the balanced performance card to improve the management of activities.

2- Unifying efforts and ways of cooperation among institutions working in the same area to avoid sponsorship redundancy through having unified data system.

3- Organizing periodic workshops related to offered orphans services and activities as well as spotting the light on the importance of orphan sponsorship for both the individual and community.

4- Conducting orphans' specific programs after sponsorship termination such as employment opportunities، holding courses for graduate orphans to acquaint them necessary skills for work.

5- Including the structure of Child Welfare Program within management priority to promote work outputs
