Abstract EN

The objective of this research was to investigate the extent of prevalence of sexual deviations among university students in Sudan, in addition to knowing the differences in some variables (gender, age level, scientific level, social status).

The researcher used the descriptive correlative approach.

The study sample consisted of (850) examined (440) Male, (410) Female.

They were selected by the random sampling method.

The researcher used Sexual Deviations Scale.

The selected data were analyzed by using Arithmetic means, standard deviations, T-test for two independent samples, and unilateral and bilateral analysis of variance.

The research reached a number of results, such as sexual deviations are highly prevalent among university students in Sudan.

There are statistically significant differences between the youth in Sudanese universities in sexual deviations: (homosexuality, sodomy, sadism, masturbation, bestiality) in favor of males, and differences in the sexual deviations of (oral sex, adultery, viewing and incest) in favor of females.

There were no differences in sexual deviations of (masochism, sexual friction, exhibitionism and pedophilia) due to difference in gender.

There were no statistically significant differences in sexual deviations between university students in Sudan depending on the variables of age and scientific level.

There were statistically significant interaction between gender and social status that had impact on the sexual deviations among university students in Sudan.

In light of the search results, the researcher provided some recommendations, such as providing sound education for sons based on religious education to help them overcome the unnatural sexual practices.

Providing the youth and adolescents, especially males, with social and cultural activities in order to channel their energies and benefit from their free time in a way that keeps them away from unnatural sexual behaviors and practices
