Abstract EN

this research paper deals with a sociological issue that is related to public economic organizations in Algeria.

Through explaining the importance of the local socio-cultural characteristics in organization's management.

Such organization have adopted multiple management methods Imported from big capitalist countries.

Very little progress was achieved after so many years of following these methods, yet the economic organizations were not able to reach their goals.

Questions about the causes of such failure raise, as many researchers blame the Algerian laborer, and his traditional culture which led to so many socio-cultural practices that contradict the economic rationalization.

We believe that such claim is falcious.

We believe that the Algerian laborer was a victim of the imported management ways, which stem from a different culture, the layter contradicts his values and culture.

in this regard, many researchers stressed tha any developemental project that does not take the local cultural characteristics into account, will not find its way to success.

That is exactly what is happening to the public economic organization in Algeria.
