هدفت هذه الدراسة إلي تعرف مدى وعي أولياء أمور التلاميذ بأهمية الاختبارات الوطنية، و دورهم في مساعدة أبنائهم لتحقيق المعايير الوطنية للمناهج القطرية في المواد الدراسية الأربع (اللغة العربية، اللغة الإنجليزية، العلوم، و الرياضيات)، بالصفوف من الرابع إلى السادس الإبتدائي بالمدارس المستقلة بدولة قطر.
و لتحقيق أهداف الدراسة تم تصميم استبانة تتضمن أربعة محاور هي : مجال العلاقة بين المدرسة و المنزل، مجال التوعية بأهمية الاختبارات الوطنية، مجال الموضوعات التي يأخذ فيها برأي و مقترحات أولياء الأمور مجال مجالس أولياء الأمور و يلغ عدد العينة (919) ولي أمر.
و أشارت نتائج الدراسة إلي وجود تعاون و تواصل بين المدرسة و المنزل فيما يتعلق بالأمور الخاصة بالمستوى الأكاديمي و السلوكي، و نتائج الاختبارات المدرسية لأبنائهم، و كشفت الدراسة عن ضعف العلاقة بين المدرسة و المنزل في الأمور المتعلقة بمشاركة أولياء الأمور في مناقشة نتائج أبناءهم في الاختبارات الوطنية، و أسباب تدني مستواهم فيها، و وسائل تحسينها.
و في ضوء هذه النتائج تم تقديم توصيات يمكن أن تسهم في تحسين مستوى تحصيل التلاميذ في الاختبارات الوطنية.
This study explores parents’ awareness of the importance of national examinations and their role in helping their children in grades 4-6 achieve national standards in the four subjects Arabic, English, science and mathematics in Qatari Independent School.
Data were collected through a questionnaire that included four themes : the relationship between home and school, awareness of the importance of national tests, the topics that benefit from the parents’ opinions, and the parents’ council.
The sample included 919 parents.
Results showed that there was communication between the school and parents in regard to students’ academic levels, school behaviors and performance on school tests ; however, there was a lack of communication and parental involvement in discussing their children’s scores on the national tests, the reasons for their children’s low performance and ways to improve their performance.
The study offers recommendations for improving students’ performance on the national examinations.
هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلي الكشف عن المعوقات التي تحول دون استخدام معلمي الرياضيات طرق التدريس الحديثة في تدريس الرياضيات بالمرحلتين الابتدائية و المتوسطة، و كذلك معرفة أثر كل من سنوات الخبرة و المؤهل العلمي و المشاركة في الدورات التدريبية حول طرق التدريس الحديثة في إدراك تلك المعوقات .
تكونت عينة الدراسة من (111) معلما من معلمي الرياضيات بالمرحلتين الابتدائية و المتوسطة في مدينة حاكل تم اختيارهم بالطريقة العشوائية البسيطة خلال الفصل الدراسي الثاني للعام 2012 / 2013 م.
و توصلت الدراسة إلى عدد من النتائج نوردها كما يلي : -أظهرت المعوقات المرتبطة بالطالب أنها المعوقات الأكثر صعوبة أمام معلمي الرياضيات و تحول دون استخدامهم طرق التدريس الحديثة في تدريس الرياضيات و بمتوسط حسابي كبير (3.72).
-تبين أن أكثر المعوقات التي تواجه معلمي الرياضيات و تحول دون استخدامهم طرق التدريس الحديثة في تدريس الرياضيات هي (كثرة الأعباء التدريسية على المعلم، ارتفاع أعداد التلاميذ في الفصول الدراسية، طول المحتوى الدراسي) و بدرجة إعاقة كبيرة جدا.
-لا يوجد فرق ذو دلالة إحصائية في طبيعة المعوقات المرتبطة ب (المعلم، الطالب، المنهاج أو الكتاب المدرسي، الإدارة و النظام المدرسي)، و في الاستبانة ككل تعزى إلي اختلاف سنوات الخبرة.
-وجود فرق ذي دلالة إحصائية في طبيعة المعوقات المرتبطة بطرق التدريس نفسها تعزى إلي اختلاف سنوات الخبرة، و لمصلحة سنوات الخبرة الأقل.
-لا يوجد فرق ذو دلالة إحصائية في طبيعة المعوقات المرتبطة ب (الطالب، الإدارة و النظام المدرسي) تعزى إلي اختلاف المؤهل العلمي.
-وجود فرق ذي دلالة إحصائية في طبيعة المعوقات المرتبطة ب (المعلم، المنهاج أو الكتاب المدرسي، طرق التدريس نفسها) و في الاستبانة ككل تعزى إلي اختلاف المؤهل العلمي، وذلك لمصلحة المؤهل العلمي (أقل من البكالوريوس).
-لا يوجد فرق ذو دلالة إحصائية في طبيعة المعوقات المرتبطة ب (المعلم، الطالب، المنهاج أو الكتاب المدرسي، الإدارة و النظام المدرسي) و في الاستبانة ككل تعزى إلي المشاركة في الدورات التدريبية.
-وجود فرق ذي دلالة إحصائية في طبيعة المعوقات المرتبطة بطرق التدريس نفسها تعزى إلي المشاركة في الدورات التدريبية و لمصلحة الذين لم يشاركوا في الدورات التدريبية حول طرق التدريس الحديثة.
Abstract EN
The present study aims to detect obstacles that prevent the use of mathematics teachers the modern teaching methods of teaching mathematics in elementary and middle stages, as well as knowledge of the effect of experience and qualification and participation in training courses on the use of modern teaching methods.
The study sample consisted of 111 teachers of mathematics teachers primary and middle levels in the city of Hae’l, selected on basis of simple random sampling during the second semester of the year 2012 / 2013.
The study found a number of results as follows : -The constraints associated with the student showed it the most difficult obstacles to teachers of mathematics and that prevent the use of modern teaching methods in the teaching of mathematics with a high mean (3.72).
-It turned out to be high obstacles faced by teachers of mathematics that prevent the use of modern teaching methods in the teaching of mathematics is (heavy teaching load, the high numbers of students in the classroom, and length of the course content) with a very large degree.
-There is no statistically significant difference in perceiving the obstacles related to (teacher, student, curriculum or textbook, administration and the school system), and in the resolution as a whole due to the difference in years of experience.
-There is statistically significant differences in perceiving the constraints associated with the same teaching methods due to the difference in years of experience, favoring the less years of experience.
-There is no statistically significant difference in perceiving the constraints related to (student, administration and the school system) is attributable to the difference in qualification.
-There is statistically significant differences in perceiving the constraints related to (teacher, textbook or curriculum, and teaching methods themselves) in the questionnaire as a whole due to the difference in qualification, for the benefit of Qualification (less than BA).
-There is no statistically significant differences in perceiving the obstacles related to (teacher, student, curriculum or textbook, and administration and the school system) in the questionnaire as a whole due to participate in the training courses.
-There is statistically significant difference regarding the constraints associated with the same teaching methods, due to participating in the training courses for the benefit of those who did not participate in the training courses on modern teaching methods.
