This study aimed at highlighting the importance of creativity and innovation for businesses today, the study was structured in order to define: the meaning of creativity and innovation, its categories, approaches and the obstacles while applying it to business world, the study concluded some results among them: Creativity and innovation for businesses today are the base for their survival in the different fields, the business enabling environment and play an important role in enhancing and encouraging creativity and innovation approach, this study also recommended to: adopting creativity and innovation approach in businesses, and providing an enabling environment which are critical and crucial, using good management principles, enhancing the loyalty of the employees and customers, investing in human resources, and to keep up with the world of science and technology knowledge
