Nowadays, society is facing so many threatening challenges that keep it from realizing the goals that it sets out to achieve.

Those goals cannot be achieved unless the individual acquires the social character of that specific society by going through successive social interactive processes throughout their multiple stages of development, what is known as: the socialization process.

This process is considered to be one of the most important processes responsible for giving the individual and then the society the necessary efficiency to help them face all sorts of challenges and achieve most of their goals.

This process is mainly what this paper sets out to investigate by going through its definition, characteristics and goals
