With technological and industrial developments in different countries in the world, energy becomes the heart of their development strategies.

And because of environmental pollution problems caused by fossil resources and their reserves and prices instability, find a clean and safe energy becomes a priority.

Thus, the integration of renewable energies in the global and national energy mix is a major challenge in view of preservation of fossil resources, diversification of sources producing electricity and contribution to sustainable development.

Indeed, Algeria is committed with determination to develop renewable energy sources and to provide sustainable solutions to environmental challenges and the problems of preservation of fossil energy resources.

This is characterized by the development of renewable energy programs: the renewable energy development program adopted by the government in February 2011 and the second renewable energy development program adopted in January 2015.

In fact, the solar photovoltaic and wind power, are placed at the heart of energy and economic policies of Algeria.
