Abstract EN
The present study is trying to focus on one of the most common problems faced by the schools, under the title of "the relationship between dyslexia and psychological adjustment at the fifth year primary students.
The study questions are as follow: - Is there a statistically significant relationship between dyslexia and psychological adjustment (personal, family, school for members of the research sample? The final study sample are (60) insolvent students with dyslexia in the fifth year of the city of Laghouat (38) male students (22) female students.
The tools used by the researcher are: -Scale assessment of diagnostic trouble reading ( Fathi El Zayat,2007 ) .
- Test of intelligence (Drawing men) ( Godanev Harris,1926) .
- List of observing the behaviour of the child (psychological adjustment) ( Rastle.

Cassel, 1961).
The results of the study are: 1- there is no significant statistical relationship between dyslexia and psychological adjustment (personal, family, school) in a sample of pupils in primary school the fifth year.
1-1 There is no statistically significant relationship between dyslexia and personal adjustment for members of the research sample.
1-2 There is a statistically significant relationship between dyslexia and family adjustment for members of the research sample.
1-3 There is no statistically significant relationship between dyslexia and school adjustment for members of the research sample.
1 - There is no statistically significant difference between males and females in dyslexia among members of the research sample.
2- There is no statistically significant difference between males and females in psychological adjustment among members of the research sample.
