Abstract EN
This research aims to identify the role of the school leader in the development of educational methods which influence the improvement of the behavior of the mentally disabled.
To reveal the significance of the differences in the role of the school leader in the development of educational methods and the programs of integration institutes in the Qassim region due to the difference in genders (male female).
To reveal the significance of the differences in the role of the school leader in the development of educational methods and programs of integration institutes in the Qassim region due to the different quality of the educational institution (integration programs, intellectual education institutes).To reveal the significance of the differences in the role of the school leader in the development of educational methods and programs of integration institutes in the Qassim region due to the difference in years of experience.
The descriptive correlative approach was used to achieve this on a basic study sample of (105) female and male teachers among special education teachers- The path of mental retardation as a questionnaire was applied to them to identify the role of the school leader in the development of educational methods (prepared by the two researchers).
Also the frequencies, percentages, averages, standard deviations and correlation coefficients were used through statistical program SPSS.
The results showed that the roles of the leader in the development of educational methods for people with mental disabilities in Qassim area are generally moderately achieved.
There are no statistically significant differences in the role of the school leader in the development of educational methods for people with mental disabilities in Qassim area attributed to the different types of institutions.
There are no statistically significant differences in the role of the school leader in the development of educational methods for people with mental disabilities in Qassim area attributed to the difference in gender (male, female).
There are no statistically significant differences in the role of the school leader in the development of educational methods for people with mental disabilities in Qassim area attributed to the difference in years of experience (less than 5 years, 5 years and over).
