Abstract EN

This study includes the different French military policies in Constantine between 1837 ami 1870; through the role of the Arabic offices .the members of the exploratory Military Committee and the saint-simon supporters of the Empire Napoleonien.

in the destruction of the religious and educational institution’s structure in Constantine, besides the application of containment policy on its leaders and scholars in favor to the French militaiy presence and its institutions.

However, they lave supervised the new educational institutions, which they have founded as alternative for the old ones .as they have watched its rigorously application .as well to study a preview of the manifestations of the policy of Napoleon 111 in the establishment of an Arabic kingdom in Algeria and its impact on the activity of the saint-simonist Urban Thomas in Constantine.

However that expressed the success of the French policy in attracting the religious and cultural events containement in Constantine that ensured stability and comfort Ibrtlv French armies.
