Abstract EN

This paper addresses the issue of Maghreb economic integration and the possibilities to activate it in order to seize the opportunities of strengthen Maghreb countries competitiveness.

We aim by this study to clarify the concept of economic integration, the presentation of the experience and Maghreb integration process, analyzing Maghreb countries competitiveness, and finally the opportunities supported by Maghreb economic integration to strengthen the international competitiveness of region countries.

This study adopted statistics from relevant international agencies in the study variables context, such as the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development, the World Bank and the World Economic Forum.

One of the most important results is that Maghreb economic integration offers opportunities to improve Maghreb countries competitiveness and achieve significant levels for region peoples prosperity.

The value of this study is reflects the fact that Maghreb integration and Maghreb countries competitiveness are considered as decisive challenges for the future of region countries and their peoples wellbeing.
