This study aims to highlight the role and importance of Islamic Exchange Traded Funds (ETF) as one of the innovative Islamic financial products that emerged with the fast pace of financial innovations that aim to increase the performance of emerging financial markets.

Investment in such funds will contribute significantly in expanding financial markets base and give investors greater flexibility to choose how to distribute their investments on market channels and sectors through new investment instruments compatible with the Islamic Religion; and help them reduce risks to their investments.

There is no doubt that the emerging financial markets, particularly those in Arabic countries, need a new and legitimate mechanisms and products to be activated, especially the Islamic ETFs.

We will try to measure the impact of the performance of the Islamic ETFs on the performance of the Saudi stock market as a whole, which is considered among the few pioneering experiences in the field of establishing and trading such funds
