فعالية برنامج تدريبي قائم على أسلوب لوفاز في تنمية المهارات الاجتماعية و التواصلية لدى الأطفال ذوي اضطراب التوحد في المدينة المنورة

Abstract EN

This study aimed at investigating the effectiveness of a program designed based on Lovaas method on improving social and communicative skills of children with Autism in Medina.

The study sample consisted of (20) children aged (6-12) years old.This sample was randomly assigned into two equal groups (control and experimental), (10) children for the control group and (10) children for the experimental one.

The study designed an educational program based on Lovaas Techniques which included (44) training activities.

The researcher designed a rating checklist for some social and communication skills.

The data were analyzed statistically based on statistical Means, Standard Deviations, Man Whitney, Wilkinson Test, and ANCOVA test.

The results showed significant statistical differences in developing social and communicative skills for the experimental group.

One of the significant recommendations of this study is to improve the Teachers’ and Specialists’ skills to deal in a holistic way with autistic children and to take into consideration their social and communicative skills
